A Web of Opportunity

I first met Josh Lewis at the Roaring Fork High School Job Fair in 2009 and soon after I began a summer internship at Blue Tent Marketing. I would have been ecstatic to know that four years later I would be studying public relations and advertising at Chapman University in Orange, CA, that I would once again be working with Blue Tent Marketing, and that this internship and the internet would help me to pursue my athletic passion: kiteboarding.

On Teens, Technology and Internships

There is a certain addiction to being online and in touch that can be cured by nothing but the Internet. This summer I decided to get involved in this portal of communication and technology and I decided to get involved beyond the average Facebook and YouTube obsessed teen. I met Josh Lewis at the Roaring Fork High School job fair near the end of the school year and grabbed a card from his table just in case. About a month into the summer I decided to shoot Josh an email regarding an internship position at Blue Tent marketing in hopes of becoming a computer savvy individual.
