The average real estate buyer or seller will be better served by  a comprehensive presentation of an agent's listings than a long list of every property your company represents. Often agents are known as specialists in a certain subdivision or price range. Your users want to see what they look like and what other properties they represent. People connect to people not to institutions.

Having produced several real estate websites for companies in the Roaring Fork Valley as well as in Montana, I was full of suggestions about IDX providers, the tenets of good design, the importance of usability and other ideas on the subject. The Overview: Why We're Wrenchin' on the Web

What's The Point?

BTM hosted our second, in a lifetime series of annual client conferences, entitled Wrenchin' on the Web II. The conference was fun, informative, provided an opportunity for Blue Tent to meet and greet clients from all of the country, provided an opportunity for all of the talented Blue Tent team to work directly with clients with whom they typically only communicate via telephone and email.

Open source, what is it? We see and hear that phrase everywhere in online media these days. Some would have you believe that it is a Pandora's box, others would have you believe it is the fountain of youth. In reality, it is a simple idea, the idea that collectively, many people can contribute their own free time to work on a piece of software.
