Meet the Team

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”
- Michael Jordan

Our team is the key to our (and your) success. Over the past 10 years, we've been fortunate to work with some amazing people – people that are extremely passionate and excited about the ever-changing world of internet marketing. And since the earliest days of Blue Tent, we've worked to create a different kind of company based upon our core values of honesty, integrity, hard work and having fun. We believe that happy people produce the best work. We know that the "always on" mentality in this digital age, combined with heavy workloads, tight deadlines and a drive for excellence in all that we do needs to be balanced by a fun, collaborative work environment, by having the freedom and flexibility to spread your wings and reduce stress with a mid-day hike, ride, yoga session, or whatever else strikes your fancy.

At the end of the day, ours is a culture of passionate, like-minded professionals who love what we do. If this sounds like a culture where you could thrive, check out our careers page and let us know if you'd like to join team Blue Tent.

Product Manager

After a completing his degree at the University of Denver, where he played varsity soccer for four years, Matt ventured to New York City to further his career in digital product management. Matt is originally from Colorado, so he feels at home at the base of the beautiful landscape in Carbondale. His strengths are creating and developing products that people want and that are easy to use. Ultimately, Matt’s desire for the outdoors drove him to leave the streets of Manhattan and Brooklyn and head back to the Rockies, where he loves to snowboard, fish, hike, bike, camp and shoot photos.

SEM Account Manager

Dan took an interest in SEM early in his life. In college, he started a web design company with a close friend. While the company would see a good amount of success, he would leave for an eCommerce Marketing position after obtaining his Master's degree in 2012, which he now uses to lord over everyone. However, as it always does, Colorado drew him back in and he joined Blue Tent Marketing in 2013.

Born and raised in Colorado with a strange affinity for computers and technology, I received a Bachelors in Computer Science from Fort Lewis College in Durango, and can now be found splitting time between hacking and hiking. I'm also an avid mountain biker and skier, and am currently located in Crested Butte, Colorado, which has the best of both. When not outdoors, I can be found in front of a computer, writing software and breaking things. I've contributed to open source projects for Mozilla, published several apps to the Android market, and built several pieces of hardware (the most prominent of which was a self aware RFID enabled book shelf). Born and raised in the Roaring Fork Valley, Sean joined Blue Tent in 2007 and now serves as the Director of Managed Services. After a decade in the journalism field, and the final year as the News and Online Editor for a daily newspaper, Sean jumped at the chance to join the more agile digital environment of Blue Tent Marketing as a strategic account manager. Sean's goal with any client is the bottom line — a solid return on investment, whether that investment is with Blue Tent or elsewhere. When not in the digital world, Sean, along with his wife Bridgette, is busy chasing his two young daughters, playing hockey, fly-fishing, skiing and just enjoying the mountains.
