Small Business Awards Program Initiated
The Bozeman Chamber
The Bozeman Chamber and the Bozeman Daily Chronicle are pleased to present a new program this year to recognize the very best small businesses in Bozeman. The Bozeman Chamber will be forwarding the honored businesses to the Montana Small Business Administration for its annual awards program. Categories include Small Business of the Year, Exporter of the Year and Young Entrepreneur. These awards will be given out at the 12th Annual Business Expo on Oct. 22 (see article below).

The Woman's Small Business of the Year will be recognized at the Chronicle's Women's Expo Oct. 3. To nominate your business, yourself, a client or suggest a nominee, contact David Smith at 922-0448 or view the nomination cover sheet or guidelines. Deadline to submit a nominee is September 21 at 5:00 p.m.

Too bad Anna Visscher from tart wasn't in attendance, or she would have won $400. Are you interested in donating door prizes for Business After Hours? Luci Edwards, Prudential Montana Real Estate, and Kathy Turgeon, MiniNickel will be assisting the chamber in contacting businesses who are interested in donating prizes.



Show Your Bobcat Spirit for Homecoming
Show your Bobcat spirit and participate in the 2009 Homecoming Community Window Decorating Contest! The theme for this year's homecoming will be "One Cat, Two Cats, Gold Cats, Blue Cats" and we encourage you to incorporate this theme into your window decorating.

The Downtown Business Association has kindly donated $50 in downtown dollars for the first place winner of the Decorating Contest. MSU Cheerleaders will be judging businesses throughout the day on Tuesday, October 6, 2009.
