It is a remarkable fall. Replete with stunning fall foliage. We have had many, many beautiful 'bonus' days, sunny warm and nearly wind-free. Great late season biking, hiking, and car touring. We have enjoyed visitors from Portugal, the Netherlands as well as many eastern and central U.S. states. Old friends and new.
Winter sports beckon. Skiing, boarding, hockey, ice fishing, canoodling. Please check out our packages and inexpensive getaways on our website and, perhaps give a call. We have many fun ideas to customize your trip at little cost.
Finally, I encourage everyone to come on November 11th at 7pm to the Prosser Theater in the College Center to meet and hear David Whyte, an extraordinary marine biologist-turned poet, philosopher and raconteur. With a Celtic soul and charming laughter he will deliver a night of poetry, mordant and wry. He chooses from his own works, Native American and British Isle classics, performed from memory. I have seen him previosuly and I won't miss him in Gunnison. I hope you come, too.
